About Aluminium
Aluminium is the most widely used non-ferrous metal, valued for its exceptional strength-to-weight ratio, corrosion resistance, and excellent machinability. Suresh Metals stocks 2000, 5000, 6000, and 7000 series alloys — from the general-purpose 6061 to the ultra-high-strength 7075 used in aerospace and defence — in all product forms with heat treatment certificates.
Sheets & Plates
Aluminium sheets (up to 6 mm) and plates (above 6 mm) are available in hot-rolled and cold-rolled conditions across all principal series. Heat-treatable alloys (2xxx, 6xxx, 7xxx) are supplied in T3, T4, T6, T651, T7, T7351 tempers for structural and aerospace performance. Non-heat-treatable 5xxx alloys are supplied in H32, H111, H112 tempers for marine, defence, and pressure-vessel service. Tooling plates (Cast Plate) provide superior flatness for mould bases and precision fixtures.

Round Bar
Aluminium round bars are produced by extrusion and supplied in standard lengths. These bars are the primary raw material for defence components (aircraft frames, missile parts, armour brackets), aerospace fasteners and fittings, marine hardware, CNC-machined precision parts, automotive components, and structural engineering applications. 6061-T6 and 6082-T6 cover general engineering; 7075-T651 and 2024-T3 serve high-strength aerospace and defence requirements.

Square Bar, Flat Bar & Extrusions
Aluminium structural sections include square bars, flat bars, angles, channels, T-sections, and custom extrusions. 6061-T6 and 6063-T6 are the workhorse alloys for structural and architectural applications. Custom extrusion profiles can be produced to drawing subject to minimum quantity. Lengths are standard 12 ft – 15 ft, cut-to-size available.

Seamless Pipes & Tubes
Aluminium seamless pipes and tubes are produced by extrusion without a seam, making them ideal for hydraulic, pneumatic, heat-exchanger, and structural applications. 6061-T6 and 6063-T6 cover most engineering needs; 5083-H111 is preferred for marine, defence, and cryogenic service.

Blocks & Tooling Plate
Cast tooling plates (Alumec 89, MIC-6) offer superior flatness ±0.1 mm and stress-free condition for mould bases, jigs, and fixtures. Hot-rolled blocks are used for heavy machining of structural and aerospace components. All block material is supplied with chemical and mechanical test reports.
